Can I use my Natwest Maestro in South Africa? - maestro restaurant los angeles
After the issue around the outside YA, but also via the Internet, I'm hearing conflicting reports of peoples experiences with the Maestro card in South Africa?
Can someone please indicate if it is accepted by most shops and restaurants?

You should get no problem with cash from an ATM to. Most shops and restaurants also accept. I remember that the teacher is widely accepted. South Africa's Standard Bank to use my debit card in any shop / restaurant etc., is the Maestro sign on, then it is certainly known here. I do not think that you have a problem, but it's always good to have backups :-)
