How much HP gains do I get from each pound of weight lost? - hp gain from lightened flywheel

Now think about my camaro drag strip when it is ready, and I wondered what HP gain for every pound they receive.

U can not get power to lose weight, but gain the acceleration or to, speed, and change the way the car handled. The higher performance and less weight has a car the fastest. For instance, if U look at a bike that has 100 horsepower and weighs 400 pounds 1 hp for every 4 pounds. Compare this with the Commander at 07 bases, which has 400 horsepower, yet weighs 3.179 pounds. PS 8 is therefore about 1 lbs. So, the Vette is going to destroy the bike just for that reason. So lose as much weight as you can.

This will not work. The loss of traction offset the gain obtained by weight loss. Theoretically, the same acceleration obtained by ten pounds in a car of this size and the addition of 1 hp, but there are many factors to consider.

Zero. You do not get more power by the car. You get more power and weight, which directly affects the acceleration.
